If its water leaking then your condensation drain is probably plugged, it should be on the firewall lower passenger side. if its antifreeze its probably a leaking heater core.

Ac not cold floor always wet passenger side.Every thing seems to work under hood all hoses are cold. pump comes on. fuses are good i made sure drain hose NOT plugged. blender seems to work the other opens...

You will find that the fins of the evaporator ( ac unit in car) are blocked up from gunk the floats around inside the cabin.. You may be able to clean it with an ac cleaner or compressed air. What is happening is that the gunk is forming ice which tells the TX valve that the temperature has been reached and so the ac compressor shuts off . The ice melts and the circle is repeated.. You may be tinkling as the ice breaks free of the fins and falls inside the ac box.

Front right floor always wet

Ac condensation could be building up and dripping in cab.If so under car on passenger side were floor board meets firewall should be a small hose or maybe even just a hole where water to drip. First i use like a coat hanger to clean out.

Floor board on passenger side wet after running a/c unit 2005 ford taurus

Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, its been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

I noticed that my passenger side floorboard is wet, what would be causing it?

there's a few different things that could be causing your floor to be wet, one is your heater/air conditioner unit has a drain tube on it to drain off condensation out of the box (inside the car) that contains the heater core and air conditioning evaporator, it is designed to drain to the outside of the car near the engine area, they often become plugged up with debris which don't allow them to drain though the hose and then begin dripping inside the car on the passenger side, the other possible case is that the windshield has been replaced and not sealed properly and water is entering around the windshield and dripping on the floor.also there is a minor possibility that water is entering around the door seal, although unless there has been damage to the door or door seal is very unlikely. thanks for using fixya

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, my problem is that the rear passenger side floor board is getting wet. Only spot in the whole vehicle that is wet. Im thinking that it is associated with the rear AC unit. I...

A clogged drip line would be my first suspicion.

Anytime warmer air passes over something cold, there will be condensation. It has to go somewhere, either under the vehicle, or onto the floor.

The fact that you are getting water there indicates that the evaporator is doing its job.

The passenger side floorboard gets wet =

is it only when the ac is on? there is a pan under the ac unit that has a hole in it to allow the condensation to empty. if that hole gets plugged it could cause the condensation to build up and back into the inside of that car. i unplugged mine and floor stayed dry

Water in drivers floor after a/c use

condensation builds on the evaporator coils and fins. they drip into a pan and drain through a hole in the pan, and down a tube to the outside. that's why you see water dripping on the under side of your car on the passenger side. the tube or hole is most likely clogged

Coolant is leaking on the passenger side floor inside my car. Light sweet smoke is coming out of the heater and leaves a residue on my windows. I think it is the heater core but I am just not sure.

hi yes your 100% right the heater core/matrix is leaking, the water is dripping down from it which is making the floor wet, and the reason you are getting "steam" on your screen is the hot water that is between the fins on the matrix is cooling causing condensation...so yes you are right..hope this helped

Wet on Passenger side floor when AC is on

Auto ac units have an outside drain for the condensation. If you ever noticed a car running and it looks like it's leaking something on a hot day it's the condensed water from the ac unit draining. What you have is a clogged or disconnected drain hose.
You need to find the hose and drain and reconnect them. Sounds simple, good luck.
