How much air should be in tires on a 1998 Ford explorer?

Tire pressure is located on drivers door or door jamb on a placard indicating size and pressure recommedations. The pressure is also stamped into the side of the tire in small print indicating maximum pressure ratings. It should be no more than 35psi

Look at the side of the tire itself, tire pressure is right there. Open the door, look down and see the sticker, the info is right there along with the size of the tires when you need to buy them. Open the owners manual, again the information is right there.

have you checked the drivers side door. There should be a tire inflation sticker on the door. 30psi seems to ring a bell.

What is the correct tire pressure for a 1999 Ford Taurus SE

ther4e should be a sticker on the door jamb with the correct tire pressure, driver side-look both at the jamb and the door itself, it's there-but if you cannot find one, inflate the tires to 30 bl.s COLD, you will be very close since they generally are somewhere between 28 and 32 lbs.

Have 1999 Mustang V6 with 15'' wheels. There is no sticker for tire pressure. Owner's manual says to see sticker. Ford tech support website says info no longer available?! What pressure should I use?

check the max pressure rating on your tires. Itill be hard to see but you will find it around the beed near the tire size. I would put them about 5 psi lower than the max rating to be safe. I would gess somewear around 35 to 45 psi.

Recognizing ford models, namely 2000 explorer

Check the VIN plate in the lower left corner of the dash (driver side) and viewed from outside of truck through windshield. The 11th digit of the VIN should be a letter " Y " which indicates a model year 2000. The VIN number should also be on a label on the driver side door or B post.

It should be on a sticker in the door jamb (probably driver's side). It's not the same for every vehicle. It may also be in the owner's manual.
