THIS IS MY PROBLEM...WHILE IN IDLE EATHER PARKED OR ON GEAR. THE RMP FLUCTUATES DROPPING SLOWLY THUS SHUTTING OFF TRUCK. I CAN AVOID THIS PROBLEM IF I SLIGHTLY STEP ON THE GAS OF COURSE, BUT....ANY IDEAS? I CANT SEEM TO FIND THE PROBLEM.

One common problem is a vac leak or a sticking throttle plate. The computer controls idle speed by how much air is allowed into the intake. The idle control valve could be sticking even tho you have cleaned it, or have a faulty motor.
look on top of the throttle body for the idle adjusting screw. take a phillips screwdriver and SLOWLY turn it, you should here the engine respond immediately. as long as the engine doesn't stall when it idles in park, i wouldn't mess with it, but if it sounds like it might croak any second, i'd adjust it
In general, yes. This is a carb tuning issue. Another possibility is a vacuum leak somewhere, but most likely, it's a carb issue. You'll typically see your rpm drop a bit when you put it in gear, but that it sometimes stalls out points to a carb issue.
sounds like the idle air control vavle. when you put a load on the engine such as putting it in gear or using the ac or turning sharply, the iac is suppose to let more air in so the engine will idle up a little. if its stuck and you load the engine by pulling it in gear it will let the idle drop and possibly die.
It sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all your intake bolts for tightness. Dump some hot soapy water along the gaskets with the engine running. . It should bubble like crazy if it's leaking. Check all hoses for cracks and tightness. Use a stethoscope or a length of fuel hose held to your ear, and witht the engine running, wiggle all hoses around while listening for a hissing sound. Make sure your choke plate is opening all the way. Check the vacuum hose to your modulater valve on the tranny. Check the bolts at the base of your carburator, and the base gasket. Check the timing.
