Should work if there is no theft guards inside the doors which would make a slim Jim useless. Pay a locksmith to open the door. They have some specialized tools to get the door open without damaging anything.
it depends if your door has the antitheft plate,most cars have them now,its just a small metal plate inside the door to stop a slim Jim,if you door has a lock pin you can hook with banding that's the way to get in,but you will need a wedge to open the top of the door just a few mm then take the banding fold it in half and push it in the gap then slide one half forward to open the banding hook the lock pin then close the banding and pop the lock ok.
