The other day, 6-10-08, the horn on my truck started going off for no apparent reason. It is a steady blast and not a on and off blast. It stays on until you open the door or hit the unlock button on the keyless entry controller. Once it goes off though, it will go off again in a few minutes unless you leave the door opened a little bit. The first day it did it, it was hot and the windows were up. Today, 6-13-08, it did it again. It is started to rain, and just a few minutes later, it started to go off. It seems like once you open the door or hit the button, it will go off until the dome lights go out. Then it starts up again. Also can you tell me were the fuse for the horn is located? At least I can pull it to keep the neighbors from getting mad. Thanks

Is the alarm causing the horn to honk? If so, you need to figure out what is causing the alarm to trigger, which could be any number of things. Or, the panic module could be failing. It is least likely to be the horn ring unless the only way you can get the horn to stop is by "beating the horn button on the steering wheel".
If it is, then you can replace the parts for the horn button, but you will need to get an assembly manual for the vehicle. Be sure to disconnect the battery before attempting to remove the airbag module. If it goes off, then you risk injury, and, they are not cheap to replace.
From your comment, it is apparent that the wirings to the horn is grounded. And the only way to check it, is by tracing the electrical wirings going to the horn. It must be checked and corrected. The hint is, it can be probably be found under the hood, where it can get easily wet. Hope this will help you.
