Hi The Metro is quite a simple car in regards to electronics. There is an ignition fuse. it might be the problem but also check the wiring to the distributor cap and the 2 wires on the coil. There might be just one lose.

Check to see if the distributor shaft is turning. If not, then check the timing belt. Another indication of a broken timing belt is if the engine cranks, but sounds like it has no compression. If the timing belt is good and the ignition timing is set correctly, look to see if you are getting 12 volts to the positive connection on the ignition coil. If that is good but you still don't get spark, you may have a bad electronic pickup assembly in the distributor. If you are not getting 12 volts to the coil with the ignition switch in the run (on) position then you may have a problem with the wiring, ignition switch, or electronic control unit.

1992 ford explorer..replaced head gaskets, coil pack, spark plugs and wires, cam sensor. But there is no spark from the coil pack to spark plugs. It turns but won't start. What else could be wrong?

turn on your ignition and see if you have 12v on the plus side of the coil. if you don't then see if you have 12v at the plus side of any injector. if neither have it, then you have to check your asd relay.

It turns but it wont start,it has gas and power

Pull off the coil ignition cable at the distributor and check for spark coming out of coil when cranking engine over. Use a heavy rag or glove to hold the wire 1/4 inch from a metal ground. Should see a strong blue spark when cranking to verify ignition is good. If no spark, check for battery voltage to coil on the coil primary. If you have current to the coil, suspect a bad coil, ignition module, crank position sensor, or cam position sensor, or pcm. The coil, ignition module, and sensors can be tested before replacing.

Car turns over but won't start

Which engine?

I would first check the following:
Are you getting spark at the spark plugs? If not, check the ignition coil or coil pack.
Are you getting fuel to the engine? Make sure there is fuel in the tank, and that the fuel pump is working.
Check all your fuses to make sure they are OK. A blown fuse to any critical engine component (ECM, ignition, fuel supply) will prevent a vehicle from starting or running.

1998 cavalier wont start no spark

If you have no spark try the ignition module, it controls the spark and if you don't have any and the coil is new its the only other option short of wiring or ecu!!

I'm only getting spark out of one of the coil packs and the car turns over put won't start, please help me. Thank you

Try switching the ignition coil with the other coil and plug it in and check for spark again. If it works in the other coil location, then you need an ignition coil. Your engine is bad for valve cover gasket leaks which deteriorate the spark plug wires, so if you are going to put in plugs and wires with the new coil, I would recommend replacing the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals(included with the valve cover gasket set).
