There is no reservoir, the trans is self contained, you add fluid through the dipstick tube

No reservoir. Fluid goes in the dip stick. If no dip stick. it must be put in from the bottom..Good Luck!!!

Jeep grand Cherokee does the power steering cap

Open the hood of your Jeep Grand Cherokee. Locate the power steering pump and reservoir on the front driver's side of the engine.
Wipe the cap and area around it with a clean rag or paper towel. This will keep dirt out of the system, when you open the cap, as well as keeping some of the dirt and grease off your hands.
Remove the cover from the power steering reservoir by turning it counterclockwise. Lift straight up on the cover to lift the cover and dip stick out of the reservoir.
Note the fluid level on the dip stick. There are several marks indicating "Add" as well as a mark for "Full." If the level is at or below the "Add" mark, you will need to add a small amount of fluid to the system.
Replace the cap onto the reservoir and turn it clockwise to tighten it. Close the hood of the Jeep, making sure it is latched securely.

How does one add transmission fluid to 1995 jeep grand cherokee laredo?

Look for the dipstick where you check the transmision fluid level. If you need any you pour it down the dipstick hole. Add it in small amounts and check in between additions, its really easy to overfill. Once overfilled a real pain to get it out.

Where is the cap to add transmission fluid yourself located, symbol noted on legend inside hood, but I am just not seeing the cap for the transmission fluid reservoir,

transmission fluid doesnt have a filler cap like the oil does . it will require the use of a funnel to add the trans fluid by way of the dip stick tube. locate lwft side rear of the motor.

Get a funnel and add it to where you pulled the dipstick out of to check it.If you dont know where the dipstick is check by where you add the brake fluid it should be right off to the left but down toward the engine more

My 1999 jeep grand cherokee sometimes shifts wrong

check to see if your fluid is low or burnt. if it is low then just add enough to cover the fill mark on the dipstick. if it is burnt, remove the transmission pan and filter and replace the filter. then add new transmission fluid.

Where is the transmission fluid reservoir

there is no transmission fluid reservoir. with the engine running at operating temperature on level ground, you need to pull out the transmission dip stick, clean it off, reinsert, remove and check level. as long as it's in the hash marks don't add any fluid.

How do i replace a speed sensor fer a 1998 jeep grand cherokee

the part you are buying (im guessing a "transmission output control spe ed sensor") should be fairly small, almost like a cork in a wine bottle, shouldnt be that expensive either, under the jeep where the transmission is youll see what looks like a plug sticking out of the side of the transmission, the only thing attached to it is a quick-disconnect wire plug. unclip the wires and get the appropriate size deep socket to take the old sensor out. be warned that if you didnt already drain the transmission fluid, as soon as you start unscrewing that sensor, transmission fluid will start to pour out. as long as you have a drain pan under the sensor it will be ok. after you screw the new sensor in and re-attach the wire plug you will have to add additional tranny fluid via the fill spout under the hood, just like adding oil to the engine.
