My AC/Heater does not blow any air in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma V-6 Pre-Runner. There hasnt been any whinning noise from a belt or anything... could it be the fuse or should i just take it to the dealer if its more complicated than that.

Well it could be just a relay for the fan blower motor or a fuse. check all the fan positions..low med high..Its something you can fix but it if got about 600.00 dollars laying around .. take it to the Dealer..lol..Good Luck!!!

    where is the relay located? If I am going to jump the blower motor< i might as well check out the relay

    The blower relay wil be in the fuse box under the hood. And sometimes they ae next to the blower motor. A lot of times it will be the fan blower motor that is bad. Good Luck!!!

Surges can be from vacuum lines. Check them. Especially the rubber parts. If they are collapsed or soft/spongy, replace them. Next I would clean the mass air flow sensor and the inside of the throttle body.

Water sound in dash

low engine coolant means air is flushing throught the heater core
when dead cold engine, remove RAD,. cap
look in the hole, bingo low rad level

2004 Toyota tacoma Pre runner 4 door AC works fine blows cold, No heat ? have checked radiator and thermostat as well as heater core have hot coolant running through entire system but still no heat not on...

You have a problem wit the air temperature control blend or the blend door actuator motor, most times both are defective. The parts are located deep in the dash and as such the dash assembly must be removed to service the parts.

Hello! Coil of Heater Relay is supplied through Fuse "IG1 2" (10A)...Located in the Drivers Side Box...Contacts of Relay are supplied through "Heater Fuse (50A)...Located in Engine Relay Box...Blower Motor has a 2 wire connector with wire colors: Black/Yellow (Pin 2)...And White/Blue (Pin 1)...Pin 1=Ground and Pin 2=Battery when Relay pulls and contacts close...
The Blower Resistor Pack (Which fails often) controls the fan speed...BUT, there is a fuse inside the assembly...If it blows = No Fan...Located on the top of the heater/AC box and can be accessed through the Glove Compartment...Guru...Saailer

Ac fan is not blowin air

The heater and AC use the same fan to blow air.If the heater works I would check for a blown fuse for AC look in owners manual for location

Need diagram for installation of a serpetine belt for 2005 Toyota Tacoma P/U 4.0. Please advise. Thanks

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1 (4WD AND PRE RUNNER DRIVE TYPE)
    1. Remove the 4 bolts, then remove the under cover No.1.

  • REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
    1. While releasing the belt tension by turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, remove the V-ribbed belt from the belt tensioner.
  1. INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
    1. Check that nothing gets caught in the tensioner by turning it clockwise and counterclockwise. If a malfunction exists, replace the tensioner.

    3. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
    1. While turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, align with its holes, and then insert a bar of 6 mm (0.24 inch) into the holes to fix the belt tensioner.
    2. Install the V-ribbed belt.
    3. While turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, remove the bar.

    1. If it is hard to install the V-ribbed belt, perform the following procedure.
(1) Put the V-ribbed belt on all parts except the P/S pump, as shown in the illustration. (2) While releasing the belt tension by turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, put the V-ribbed belt on the P/S pump.
  1. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1 (4WD AND PRE RUNNER DRIVE TYPE)
    1. Install the engine under cover with the 4 bolts. Torque: 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.)
