My signal/high/low switch that is mounted on the dash, to the left of the steering wheel, has broke. Sometime's I can stick it back in the "hole" in the dash and it will sparodically work but I'd like to replace it properly. I've searched the web looking for a used one but perhaps I'm asking for the wrong part. I'm not sure what you would call the little "lever" that is the actual broken part.
Any assistance on this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

YOUR MOST LIKELY CAUSE FOR THIS PROBLEM ARE ONE OF TWO THINGS, FIRST LET'S DO SOME DIAGNOSING TURN YOUR HEADLAMPS ON AND TAP ON STEERING WHEEL TO SEE IF LIGHTS GO OFF. IF THEY DO THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE HEADLAMP HIGH BEAM SWITCH, LOCATED ON THE BACK SIDE OF TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. HEADLAMP HIGH BEAM DIMMER SWITCH IS USUALLY LOCATED ON SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN, UNDER DASH, ACCESS IT FROM UNDER DASH PANELS, YOU MAY NEED TO TAKE OUT FOUR STEERING COLUMN MOUNTING NUTS AND LOWER STEERING COLUMN TO GET TO THIS SWITCH, THE ONLY OTHER SWITCH CAUSING THIS IS YOUR HEADLAMP SWITCH, ALSO CALLED A "MULTI-FUNCTION" SWITCH. THIS SWITCH IS VERY HARD TO REPLACE, WITHOUT SPECIAL TOOLS FOR THE JOB I WOULD ADVISE YOU NOT TO TRY OR IF NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE SAFETY HAZARDOUS INVOLVED. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED ON OUTCOME. THX.
There is a metal rod that runs down the side of steering colmn and pushes on the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch is on the steering column to the left of the steering wheel. You will have to unbolt the column where it connects to the dash and rest it (the steering wheel) on the driver seat to get to the switch.. The switch is adjustable, just loosen the screws and slide it up or down to get proper adjustment.. Hope this helps.
I had the same problem. the switch broke. So i took apart the whole steering wheel until i looked under the dash near the pedals. if you look under the dash then you will find that there is a small white square looking thing with rod connected to it. thats the one you want to change. hope this helps
