Peugeot 207 1.4, small oil leak from underneath, added engine stop leak, how long before it stops leak?

oil leaks from underneath can come from front crank shaft seal --rear crank shaft seal --oil filter--sump gasket---power steering ---leaking rocker cover gaskets ---leaking oil pressure switch.--transmission seals. I suggest that you have the engine professionally cleaned and then put it on a hoist while running to see where the oil is from

A small oil leak is not problem, one drop of oil can spread out to the size of Silver dollar. Oil leaks are very expensive to repair and hard to pin down without access to a car lift. Tell Mom not to worry her little head about this. Cheers mate.

Why is there oil leaking on my 2001 kia sportage?

One of your many engine gaskets has failed and started leaking. If it is leaking more than a very small amount, you"ll have to replace the gasket. Very small leaks can sometimes be cured with some aftermarket stop-leak stuff. Make sure it's for an oil leak.

Small leaking from oil and fluids gaskets, do I need repairs

Cars are not supposed to leak.

A small oil leak will eventually make the whole engine slimy.

If you forget to keep putting oil in, a leak can destroy the engine from running out of oil.

You don't have to have it repaired, but if it is an inexpensive repair, I think you should. (Some oil leak repairs require somewhat extensive engine disassembly, and are not cheap...)
