Check your ground wire going to the distributor - I suspect your wire is broken inside, hence your problem. It is also possible that your coil is overproducing, which would also cause that problem.

I have a 2001 nissan pathfinder se and it won't idle. keeps wanting to die if you don't keep giving it gas and it's blowing black smoke out of the exhaust.

there is a very common issue with bad distributors in nissan pathfinders, xterras.and quest. just replace the distributor

Heavy black smoke from b14 engine what is the possible cause ?

Keep in mind the fuel strategy of the fuel injector is what the call PWM(pulse width modulated) so low fuel pressure can cause rich black smoke.coolant temperature sensor that is reading under temperature can cause black smoke and so can the MAF (mass air flow sensor) use carburator cleaner or brake cleaner and clean MAF outside of the vehicle and see if that helps

My car has an air flow problen it is a nissan B14 mod.1996 I believe it is the trottle body that is bad.It would run for a while, then when the engine is hot it will start to loose power and if you put it...

Doesn't really look like an airflow problem. May be a lot of causes but most common in your case is a faulty distributor. Lightly touch the distributor after the engine has warmed up. If it's very hot (can't keep your finger on it) then you most probably have a faulty coil in there.
