Question about Mercedes-Benz G500
On the back of the steering rack is a sensor that increases the idle when turning the steering wheel stationary and i think this sensor needs changing ,the sensor is on the back of the steering rack where the steering wheel shaft goes into the rack .when faulty the idle will drop when wheel is turned but as its such a big engine you may not notice the harder steering .Which you would with a small engine under 2 litre
