You would have to blame the sensor in that case, if you had the battery checked and the charging system, the battery light comes on telling you the battery is either dead or charging, if it is a light. If it is a gauge, it will tell you which way it is going. But it might be charging up, something could be draining the battery. Or the battery could be dieing on it's own. Did they check the electrolyte fluid in the battery? Or just the voltage? Hope this helps.

No there is a body ground... at the battery cable follow it from the battery post to the fender it's a10 gauge wire it's the body ground. One end goes to the engine block and the smaller cable end goes to the fender for lights and accessories ground thats why the light is flahing it's got a bad connection at the ground.

Sounds like a short in the brake light circuit - most likely near the brake pedal switch where the wires flex continuously.

Alternator not working

What is year--make--model of vehicle? I'd check alternator connections to and from alternator. Check battery and battery connections. Check for charging system trouble codes, see if any?

I have a brand new alternator and battery in my car but the battery light keeps flashing and the car will lose all power connections and completely shut down and when you turn the car off it will not start...

OK, your brand new alternator is either bad, or the wire to it is not continuous, or both.

Actually, the circuitry within the alternator directly controls the Battery/Charge light in vehicles made in North America as well as foreign jobs.

Take your alternator back and have it tested either on a bench, or in your car to verify what I have indicated.

Good luck to you.

Dash and interior lights flash and truck will not start. Lights continue to flash even after the key is removed. I have to disconnect the battery to stop the lights from flashing. There are no sounds when...

your battery is bad. Happened to me a month ago. I checked the alternator, it was fine. I put a new battery in ,and has been trouble free. I had no warning, other than it was the factory battery and it was5 years old.
