You have a relay there are 2 speeds low speed and high speed this is controled by a cooling fan module if you changed fan and it does not work then you will need to check the fan module, first the relay its in the engine fuse junction box High speed is marked on the relay C1056 and low marked C1058, here is what you can do go to the high spped relay open thhe cover and expose the relay with key on collapse the relay does the fan come on? if it doesnt replace the fan module if it does you will still have to replace the fan module here is the location is at the radiator on the front (may be under shroud)

My eclectic fan quit working, what could cause that?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Are you talking about your radiator fan? If so, you need to check the radiator fan fuse in your fuse box. If the fuse is good, you need to test the wires on the fan. You either have a bad fan or there is a bad wire.

Overheating and coolant leaking out coolant reservoir tank overflow hose.

You will need to check for the fan fuses to see if they are blown. If you have a blown fuse, the fan may need replacing. The Chevy's have a trend to blow a fuse when the fan goes bad. You can undo the wiring harness at the fan, and if you know how, run 2 wires from the battery to the fan motor harness (one positive and one negative) This will tell you the state of the fan motor. if it runs wired like this and runs quiet, it is good, you have a fuse and or a relay problem, look at the fuse cover for which relay is which and which fuse is which. Good hunting..

Blower motor not working for heat and air conditioner. need fuse locations and wiring color code to trace circuit

I've had this problem before too...first check to see if your fan can be rotated by hand (make sure the car isn't running while checking). If you can't spin the fan by hand, then you need to replace the fan. The cooling fan has a 40A fuse in the fuse box under the hood (driver's side). If your fan has siezed, it will trip this fuse too.

My fans on my 2001 chevy impala aren't coming on.

You will need to check the integrity of the circuit first, and if there are no problems with the wiring, relay, etc., you will then need to test the coolant fan motor itself.

You could try switching fuses. If that doesn't work you need to check for power at the fan motor.
