As with many newr cars, Your radio probably had a security code which is required to reset it after the radio is removed or power was disconnected from it. You probably have the code written somewhere in your new car paperwork. If not, contact your dealer. They can probably guide you through resetting the code.

Had the same problem with my2010 Fusion; After replacing the battery I had the dealer replace the radio fuze;radio works fine now. BTW, that fuze box is tough to work around. The manual is correct, the fuze box is where the manual states but you won't believe it. good luck.

2008 ford fusion battery drain

there a good and easy way to check if your batterie is broken.
your batterie has some caps on if its 12 volt you have 6 caps.
turn the caps off all.start your engine while looking to your batterie.
when your starting and there comes smoke out, batterie is dead.
you must see good,so one starting and one person checking on smoke.its also a good thing to clean the connections positif and negatif aswel the cable and the batterie itself. if there are not clean and i mean
like silver color. batterie will not charged good.when you got connection,
thats looks like white cool.por some low hot water on it till its gone.
wacht out for your cloding.the white stuff can blowing away by wind,
when it come on your cloding, you will see nothing till next day,
big hole.

Went to start the car last night and it would not turn over. the lights and radio works but when i turn the key there is a sound that goes click click click and thats it ? Do not know what it could be ?...

It is probably the battery. Try this test, turn on your headlights, and watch how long it takes for them to dim. My car makes this sound when the battery is dead. They should stay illuminated at normal brightness for at least ten minutes. Take a multi meter to the battery, see if the voltage is too low.
