Theres a thing a called the igniter and sometimes this goes.. its on the driver side all the way up on the firewall very accessible  its alluminum and says igniter on it.  this could be the problem -- will stop the spark plugs from firing.

Try to turn the engine by hand on the front cranshaft pulley with a socket, if turns engine is ok, but if not engine is gone,
and not only check the powers also check for a good ground,
and clen the batterie conectors very wheel even if they look clean electrical systems are very tricky

!996 toyota celica gt stalled while driving and won't start up again.

Bendix has gone out on the starter. Replace starter. The spinning is the starter but it would not have gone out while "driving" so you may have another problem once you replace the starter.

I drove my car too a friends house last night, i have a brand new battery, i had the radio on then i went to turn over the car and all power was lost, nothing came on, when we stuck the jumper cables i had...

Sounds like 1 of the following:
  • Dirty or corroded battery connection
  • Loose battery cable
Either of these conditions will both prevent the battery from properly recharging and prevent sufficient power from the battery to start the car. If the car won't start only when the engine is warm, you may have a bad starter that works when it's cold but not when it's hot.

1996 Toyota Celica GT: car loses power and stalls out.

Check alternator voltage at back of alternator ( big wire ), if you have no less then 13.5 volt's, alternator is ok, check for blown alternator fuse or break at wire from back of alternator to starter then to battery, could be a bad fuse link at starter.

1990 Toyota Celica will not start.

Sounds like the connection from the battery to the chassis ground is bad. Try replacing the Negative battery wire and make sure where it attaches to the frame is as rust free as possible

I have 1990 Celica GT 2200. no spark to plugs/power to fuel pump

need to change rotor and cap , and might as well change wires and spark plugs if its due for a tuneup! yeah have your ignition control module check if it doesn't start after replacing every thing else.

Bad headlight switch or relay, or shorted wire. I would check the relay first.
