Where is the relay located For a 1997 Lincoln Town Car moonroof relay

Been a while since I have worked on older models. But as I remember, there is no relay. There is a circuit breaker that all windows work off of. On older cars, like yours. there is a heat sink built in the motor. When the window reached a certain point, the heat sink would shut it off. A bit newer the heat sink was in the computer. On new ones, with the sun roof, the have to be programmed/set. If yours doesn't leak, leave it alone.

My 2004 Lincoln Avaitor has a bouncy ride especially in the rear any idea of what it is? And any idea of how much it will cost to fix? Thank you, Lisa

it may have something to do with your shock absorbers, you might have to take the vehicle to a suspension specialist & have it checked for suspension damage.....hope this helps....cheers.

The driver side window does not work but i can still control the other windows in m car from the driver side also the moonroof does not work and the radio and time do not work?

Hi! Regarding the driver side power windows please try cleaning the contact of the control for it could be corroded causing it not to work. Regarding the radio and moon roof, please check for blown fuses and relays which can cause electrical failure. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

If it's the fuse for the windows, it's probably the relay, motor or regulator, according to this great diagnostic handyman article:

I seriously can't say anything else as to the lights and roof (probably the roof's window regulator, relay or motor as well). You know might need to get free estimates from local mechanics to get the problem properly diagnosed and fixed. I remember having a small auto section where they offer great deals, like free estimates from local auto specialists in your area, whom I would think would be able to assist you in diagnosing the problem and having it fixed before it gets worse--heck right now one ad-link says you could save like 50% through what I read as competitive bidding or something like that--here's the link:

Yeah, so call around or use the above link. I hope this is helpful. Good luck!

right behind the rotor itself just inside are babypads and if they are loose it will make the car acts as if the emergency brakes are on so take everything off and behind the rotor you should see these little pads
