Just bought a used 325i that has a blaupunkt cassett deck in it, the display reads CODE, the used dealer ship gave me a code it does not work. Any ideas? have vin # and proof of purchase.

- Do want to keep the one I got. I do not have the tab keys to remove the deck from the dash. Is there a way to get the deck out with other devices that will unlock these tabs so I can pull the deck out to see orig. VIN number ?I This BMW is a collector car mint shape do not want to modify it. thanks

If it is a stock radio then it may be from a different car. You will need to take the radio out or take the car to the dealer to get the code. I would just go and buy a new one and upgrade to a CD with MP3 capabilities. BMW troubleshooting fees are generally $60. Buy a new one.

same thing happened to my bro he got the code from his car manual i think and added it and it worked. try that
