What you will need to do is when it doesnt start is to check for spark and fuel, this way you will konw what to look for, this good be a bad fuelpump or a main relay or the coil, next time it doesnt start try spraying starting fluid into throtle to see if it starts if it does then its fuel,

Nissan sentra 2000, start but not fairing, spark plugs have been checked, fuel pump is ok. What we be the problems?.

Start, but not... what? "fairing"? You mean firing? But if it starts, it has to be firing the spark plugs?? If not firing, then ignition system is not working-plugs, plug wires, ignition coils, ignition control module, crank position sensor, and ecu- these are all part of the ignition system.

Start with someone who can follow a wiring diagram and an ignition system troubleshooting/diagnostic procedure. Lot of fancy stuff on a Nissan ignition system, but wonderful when they work right. I own an '87 Sentra without a lot of fancy ignition stuff, but have had to take out a one month subscription to Mitchell 1's online DIY auto repair site ($16.99), to find information that actually applies to my car and its somewhat primitive ECU. A Chilton repair manual was totally useless, bogus information. Now I've almost got it running right, but only ten days left on my subscription! They have annual rates, too, at I think, $26.99.

1987 nissan 4x4 pickup with 3.0L V6. just replaced the ignition coil and rotor. Distributor cap looked ok. started ok, but after warm and driving for 2 minutes it stalled and wouldn't...

Sounds like you changed the part that failed but did'nt change the part the caused the part to fail. the spark plgs wear out and need more power to fire as they wear out as do the old plug wires 87 is a long time ago and some are still running with the orginal parts (their that good) change all the parts at once ( plugs , wires , cap and rotor aand now again another coil) and you'll be back to going. remanber that low voltage will kill everythig and some starters will crank when the voltage is too low for anything else. fuel pump and the spark need good voltage to run and the starter may still turn the motor at very low voltages. check the battery and the charging system. You may try to just jumper to another car ( so the voltage is known good) and if it runs OK you are finding and testing battery and charging system parts.

My alfa 156 womt start and then will start the fuel pump is ok and it will start on a tow help

Ok. With such littel detail its hard to work out but it coudl well be the crank angle sensor. I have two 156's and both had to have the crank angle sensor replaced and al the intermitant starting and driving problems went away. They are very close to the exhaust and the heating and cooling makes them go intermitant over time. Replace it if you car has done over 80,000kms.

87 prelude has no fire from coil, replaced it an still same thing

check to see if the wiring harness connecting to the plug is not corroded.

also if all connections are good then your next step lies with the ignition control module.
