If you mean the fuel pump re-set button, Fords used to put them in the trunk area, maybe behind a trim or moulding piece. If it's not there, you may have to check with the dealer, or someone familiar with later Escorts. Good luck.
Does it crank normally? I think your ford has a fuel cut-off switch (just for collisions) around the trunk area, maybe under carpet, or near the wheel well area, along one side, maybe. just a pushbutton switch. That would turn the pump off.
good old ford lol, try looking at the crank sensor its located at the front of the engine tucked in right hand side of exhaust manifold and gearbox, two pin plug, i have also known these to have no end of faults with the fusebox.
easy to remove, and solder the connections inside they all suffer eventually, if your not to handy with cars i recommend taking to a auto electrician, easy if you know how. Good luck Davelee
