Question about 1996 Honda Civic
I understandthat if I want to disable my passenger airbag I need to get permission from the NHTSA, then find a shop to install an on/off switch.
I'll skip the long story about why... but how complex is disabling the system on my 1996 Honda Civic DX?
Dad in Texas
Ran into experienced Honda mechanic who simply detached wires in the proper places. No shop will touch this because of liability concerns. Later models might have more sophisticated back up.
