Bmw 98 z3 roadster elec windows wont roll up but u have to keep pushing win button up about inch at atime

Most times the button is wore out. There are ways to take it apart and bend the contacts in an emergency or temporay fix. Best to replace it.

98 BMW Z3, power window will not go up or down. Have checked fuse #14, checks out ok.


I replaced motor and regulator I have no current going to motor there is current on the switch I ran my tester there is current going to window switch but not to motor

1999 Z3 power top. no response from switch after unlatching 2 latches above windshield. Thanks


first you need to pull the top back untill it flips up, then you have to have your foot on the brake for the electronics to kick in when you push the button.

BMW Z3 Roadster key won't turn


It might be an interlock. Try rolling the car forward and back when this happens until the key turns. It doesn't take much, you should be able to do it from the drivers seat in a small car like the z3
