Where is the thermostat in dhaiatsu terios

Hey, I have attached a link where I helps to find the thermostat on a 99 terios.

It states to follow the left bottom radiator hose to the "upper left side of the engine block"

I have also attached links to other forums which explain the same in a different way to help you find it. Where is thermostat located on 99 Daihatsu Terios

Follow the under radiator hose to the engine, at the large nipple the upper hose is clamped to is where the thermostat is housed under the cover.

99 Firebird still overheating after repairs and antifreeze

overheating is most likely a bad thermostat, but the coolant loss is a second big concern. Does the exhaust look like steam? You could have a cracked block and the coolant is leaking into the engine. Also check the oil for contamination.

Coolant temperature sensor is located on the intake manifold, close to the thermostat housing for the 3.4 liter and on the passenger side head for the V8's. Good luck and keep me posted.

How do you change the thermostat in a 1989 firebird

let car cool down follow top radiator hose to the engine the thermostat is in part where hose is hooked up remove hose then remove two bolts holding part to engine take off and there is your thermostat

I have a 99 Firebird and I'm geting a 300 code.

Thats an Eng miss start by replace plugs & wires or get a scan tool locat cyl, or get chicken pliers pull wires on at a time to look for bad cyl, get pliers at home depot elec department made of plastic wish you luck
