Question about Dodge Pickup
When I hitch the cargo trailer to the vehicle all the lights work except the clearance lights on the trailer. Is there a fuse involved? What could be the problem?
I would make sure that all of your trailer wiring is ok, you can take a multimeter and check for continuity to make sure the wiring is not torn inside the insulation. You place the positive and negative test leads opposite of each other one on each side of the free wire and put the multimeter on the OHMs channel to check for any wire cuts. You may also check for faulty fuses and a bad ground. There are different ways to approach this and finally it may sound crazy but check your bulbs for the clearance lights.
