2000 Ford Ranger is killing alternators immediately after install

the best way to test an alternator is with a load test-partstores dont do that--battery may still have a bad cell even tho it tested good--an alternator can burn up charging a completely dead batt--make sure batt reads at 12.6volts and no less-----if it reads say at 12.3 its only 50% charged!

You have had the battery load tested on a tester? If not do that, you can be fooled.

Why it wont start if the fuel throtal sensors, tune up,batt.., and altarnator are new

If it cranks, it is probably the fuel filter, clogged. Replace and try again.
If it just clicks then the solinoid/starter need to be checked.
If it does nothing, the connection to the solinoid can be the problem.
If it does nothing and the connection to the solinoid is OK, only other suggestion I have is the electric in the key switch or wires in the stearing column.

Battery isn charging, its a brand new battery. 1977 ford f250 ranger with a 460 in it.

with ignition key on does the batt. indicator in the cluster lit?using a testlight(one side connected to ground), probe the wires at the connector of the alternator with ign. at on shld be getting a live +12volts.if there is a +12 volts to any of the wire while ignition is on then the wirings or the fuse is ok.Need to remove the alternator and check the carbon brushes

I have a 1989 fordf350 deisel batt light stays on

I would check the plug going into the alternator. They have been known to fail at times. I would also check the fuse for the alternator if equipped.
