Question about 1995 Mazda Millenia

1 Answer

I have no heat in my 95 Mazda Millenia. I have checked the heater core and it appears to be working fine. I suspect that the heater door may be stuck, but I am unable to locate it. Do you know where I may get a diagram of the heating system, or if there is any other things to check?

Check the vac.valve on the heater hose that runs to the heater core. Sometimes the valve wont open to let the engine coolant run threw the heater core.

No heat in my 95 tahoe

1995 huh? Time to check where your heater hoses connect to the engine block. These are known to clog themselves with rust and corrosion preventing coolent to flow through your heater core. Does your heater hoses get hot? If not, your clogged mate!

98 mazda mallinia no heat controller seems to be working i can turn knob and it will go from 90 to 65 degrees but wil not turn air to hot just stays cold

Heater theromstat is faulty, it is located near the heater core in most vehicles, It monitors the temperature of the core or in some vehicles the inside cabin temperature and open or closes allowing heated water to flow through your heater core. Look on your heater hoses and you will find it. Most of the time its a DIY job and not that expensive but don't bet on it being cheap, they are proud of some of those things. Just have to check with your local parts house and find out. Used to be a common problem but I guess technology has caught up with them. Hope this helps.

929 Mazda (1992) No Heat But A/C Works I have a 929 Mazda 1992 year. Does not blow any heat. I noted that the 30 amp fusible link for the heater was busted. Replaced it but still no heat. A busted fuse...

First check your fluid in your radiator if its low your heater will not work. Check all your heater hoses and make sure they are not kinked.
Your heater core may be plugged That will stop the heat flowing as well. If it's the heater core it will have to come out and replaced most likely. Not sure if there is a heater valve on that car.

No heat coming from heater checked fluids therm is ok too?

call a dealer service department and ask them if it is typical for a mazda heater core to need replacement at 10 years. if so, have them check it and find out the cost. this can be done at a
shop which specializes in auto air conditioners and radiators much cheaper than at a dealer. as the dashboard has to come out, it is not really an owner service item.
