If you have flushed the heater, I assume you did this by removing the hoses from the thermostat housing. If there's still no heat, check

1. the thermostat is actually present. If not, put one in. If the radiator core is in bad shape, or blocked, replace the radiator.

2. the thermostat is not jammed open. If so, replace it and use a new gasket under the cap.

3. Verify that the water pump belt is not loose.

4. Remove some dash panels to get access to the heater core valve. Check that the valve is actually turning when you adjust the dash control.

My suzuki alto stantard SZ 5 DOOR 2012 modle heating is now working Please advise

HVAC, the heater is not working?
the resistor only makes fan work , on low speeds.
1: is the fan blowing? heard and felt? on HIGH?
2: is engine coolant at 180F temp, or more holding, IT must, or there will not be heat,.
3: are both fire wall heater core hoses hot, fully? if one is cold the core is blocked. (flush it out)
4: Ok, we have hot water coolant to core (heater core) so is the damper open?, yes, then now you have heat for sure.

if all that is greek , get car serviced.
or buy the FSM book read , HVAC chapter
the factory service manual

No heat dont switch to heat

Depending on the vehicle. There are a number of things to check. First check your fuses. You may have a bad heater control, a vaccum leak (depending on make and model of car) a short in the wiri g or a bad servo that switches from cold to hot. But first let the car get to operating temperature with the heat and fan completely of after the temp gauge goes up turn the heat on hot and the fan up. If it blows hot for a few seconds then back to cold then you need a heater core flush or heater core replacement

1993 dodge spirit heater fuse

The heater is NOT actuated by a fuse, the fan is. ]But if the fan blows, the electrical part is OK, then it must be the heater door that switches from the cold air to the hot one, or 2) the heater core is not receiving enough hot coolant.

No heat/defrost 01 corolla

Sounds like you have air trapped in the heater core when you flushed the heater core. loosen the upper most heater core hose and run the engine untill coolant seeps out. Wait until the coolant has reached running temperature.

No heat air is blowing cold

First you have to identify what causes the problem.
To do this you have to:
1) When engine is cold check the level of coolant. If it is low fill it up.
2) Start engine and check if engine reaches regular temperature. If your engine is not heated enough it means your thermostat does not work properly and should be replaced.
3) If engine temperature is normal, then check the temperature of pipes that go to/from heater core. These pipes are located up the fire wall (easier access is from the passenger side). If pipe/pipes are cold (even engine is worm) it means you heater core is plugged and should be flushed. Keep in mind, flushing the whole cooling system is different from flushing heater core.
4) If pipe/pipes are hot/warm, turn off the fan, switch controller to the hot position, wait for 3-4 minutes and turn on the fan. Note if the cold air blows first or warm air blows first but it cools down in 5-10 seconds. If the air blows cold than it is most probably the problem with blend door or blend door actuator.
5) If air blows warm first and then cools down, then while running engine and remaining the transmission in PARKING position, press on the gas pedal until your engine reaches 3,000 RPM. Check if your heater blows warm/hot air. If it does, then your water pump does not work properly and should be replaced. If the air still cold, I would suggest to flush the heater core.

No heat from heater

sounds like the thermostat is stuck. check this first. easier just to remove it and reinstall without one just to see if you get heat. If still not working then there needs to be a good flushing to be done. just make sure when you do a flush to leave heater controls to hot. if still not working then sounds to be like a bad heater core. you might need a professional flush which uses high pressure to blow out any clogs in heater core. hope this helps.
