Question about 1995 Mazda Protege
I am looking at a 2003 Mazda 6i a four cylinder, automatic, it has 94 thousand miles, but is in PERFECT CONDITION. they are selling it for $7700. I have driven it, motor is perfect, its in amazing shape the only problem is that the Suspension is shot. How much does it cost to replace the suspension on all wheels
Fairly Cheep Car, but the suspension is not good. (eg 3 people in car and can't drive over low bumps without scraping, although we are big people, and two of us makes a lot of railroad crossings finger-crossable to get past without scraping).
I have no idea how much fixing the suspension costs.
If the suspension is shot you should perhaps be walking away from this bargain. Or if you are really keen at least consider getting it looked over by a professional - after all it is only five years old.

The engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM
