Replaced Spark Plugs, wires, cap & rotor. Still same problem. Also installed another rebuilt Computer.TPO sensor replaced. did not check voltage yet. What else can you suggest or what ideas do you have to help me.

Do you know if this is a TPI engine or a Multi port fuel injection engine. The MPFI engines have problems with the injectors.

Car idles ok , put car in drive it wants to die

Could be fuel or ignition. When is the last time you changed the fuel filter? I would start with a fuel pressure test.

While driving when I try to accelerate after 30 miles per hour my car pulsates before picking speed. The car seems like loses speed before it pickup speed.

It's hard to say if this is something more dire than this, but have your spark plugs and wires checked out.

If a cylinder is not igniting properly when you accelerate, it would definitely cause this problem.

I had a car where it would 'jump' when I was trying to accelerate past 30-40mph and switching the wires fixed it right up. Hope this helps!

Never heard of that one. You can change the speedo gear in the trans attached to your vehicle speed sensor. More teeth slow the speedo down. count the teeth on the one in there and see what the dealer has. about $5 each.

The mechanic tells me my clutch is slipping and needs rreplacing 85,000 km. How do I know if this is reliable info? I feel nothing

TEst for slipping clutch is travel about 30 mph. press clutch, shift to 3rd, rev engine pretty high and release clutch, at the time of clutch release, floor throttle. If the engine continues to race, clutch not grabbing porperly, if the clutch works properly, the engine will be slowed and engauged.
You can always get a 2nd opinon from another shop.

the 85,000 mile coutch worn out issue dependes entirely on driving habits of the operators.

Check engine code reading ''Map Board Sensor, High Input'' and a second engine code ''EGR Sensor, High Input'' Light just came on. Vehicle is a 2005 Mercury Gran Marquis with 85,000 miles on 4.6L V-8. ...

means your egr is malfuctioning or needs to be cleaned. the high imput means the egr is allowing for exhast gases into the combustion chamber and the map code is caused by the egr as well.

2003 Mercury Grand marquis utlimate edition Whistling noise coming from the rear and eerie annoying.

What speed?
In the trunk area?
Around the rear doors?
Only in crosswinds? Sometimes the antenna makes a whistle noise in cross winds at 50 plus mph.

Get a roll f 2 inch masking tape, and tape off areas one at a time and test drive.
