Question about 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited

Power locks with a mind of their own!

My 2007 santa fe seems to have a power lock issue..... as I drive along it sounds as if the locks are locking and unlocking themselves without my doing anything.....then sometimes when I am stopped waiting to turn at a light or a junction this awful whirring noise comes from the rear and it sounds like the locks in the back are locking & unlocking constantly! Help!

My 2003 Santa Fe repeatedly does this whenever the driver's door is opened (with the key is in the ignition)
Hopefully there is a simple solution

Sounds like a wiring/switch issue. I would have your dealer take a look at it to see if there are any problems with any of the switches, or the wiring.

My drivers side rear door will not open from the inside or outside

I had exact problem Santa Fe 2007 2008 lock was stuck in locked position and door would not open from inside or out. All other doors would unlock with auto key remote. Carefully work the inside lock towards the open position as you lock and unlock the door with the remote. As you press unlock try to assist the lock to open. I did this a few times and the lock became free to the open position and all worked perfectly after this.

Seems to have no power and will not turn over and had to lock car manually car is automatic

Sounds like a dead battery. Open hood, check for voltage at battery with a multimeter. If less than 11 + volts battery probably needs replaced.

Power steering problems this oil seems to be leaking from the bottom of the car

its either the power steering pipe, or a seal on the power steering rack, be careful driving it beacuse it can lock the steering when your not expecting it. get it checked out asap. either job shouldnt be expensive.
