Question about 2001 Oldsmobile Alero
We just bought this used so I dont have a lot of history on the car. I did the usual when I buy a used car. I changed the air filter, spark plugs, plug wires, pcv valve. It runs great and gets good gas mileage. One problem the car starts hard sometimes. You have to crank it over more than what I feel is normal. sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times to start. The fuel filter looks new and some of the fuel line has been replaced. It has the v6 3.4 liter motor with 112,000 miles. It doesnt smoke or drip anything. The check engine light is not on. If while cranking the engine you open the throttle it starts just fine. I know that you arent suppose to do that but maybe the info will help. Thanks inadvanced.
Sounds like clogged injectors try run chevron techron injector cleaner for 8 bucks it got me out of the same mess b4
