Question about 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
Where is it located?
If you were looking at this from under the passenger side of the dashboard it is on the left side of the blower itself it is a 2" x 4" black block. You will need to have a heat welder to remove this and install a new one since it is secured with heat type plastic rivets.
to guest: this resistor is what applies power to the blower so when it shorts out it will make the blower motor run non stop even with the key out of the ignition.

Usually inside the airstream (thus it gets cooled)
Follow the wiring from motor around the air intake area. At some point it will dissapear inside the air box/trunking.
It should be on a largish mounting block - maybe even screwed on.
