This vehicle does not shift properly.it has been in service several times, last time they replaced the inhibeter switch and vehicle still does not shift any better, also sometimes when you start it and take off it gos into limp mode and then i have to shut it off wait for awhile and restart it.to day it was down shifting, then started to lose power and died.i pulled over and turned off the key, waited a few mins and restarted it,it did not have power and bucked i then turned it off and waited about 10 min and restarted it and it made it home.please help if you can thanx ppet
It is not a problem. Amanti is equipped w/driver adaptive system = continually adjusts to varying driving habits, e. g gentle take-off vs. fast or city driving vs hi-way. This optimizes engine power while being good on gas. Feature is common among luxury cars, incl. Mercedes.
