Rear Seats Hi I own a 2004 Supercab F150 61/2 foot box and wondering how do you lower down the rear seats? I know you can lift the lower part of the seat to go up for more room. There are pull type cords on the part where you rest your back how do you lower it to make more room or to access behind the rear seat?? Thank you Daana

How do I take out the rear seats in my 2004 impala?

You have to start with the seat bottom. There is a catch at the front of the bottom on each side that has to be pushed down and back to release. Once the bottom is out the back bolts at the bottom and will lift off at the top.

Who do I remove rear seat for a BMW 760li?

Most rear seats need to be unlatched from the very bottom on each side. Try sliding the driver and passenger seats fully forward. With your back against the front seat press forward toward the trunk on the bottom of the rear seat on one corner at a time near the floor and lift up. This should release the latch. To replace the seat simply slide the seat back into place with the front slightly raised upward and push the seat in toward the trunk then push down til you hear the latch catch.

I can't into my trunk there is something stuck therefore i need to fold down my rear seats and move it but i don't know how to fold them down I trie but i got nowhere

Be sure that your model has fold down rear seats...you should see the seperation around both rear seats...if equipped, the fold down release is located at the top corner of each rear seat...pull the lever up to release...if your model does not have the fold down option...you will need to remove the rear seat...remove the lower cushions first...look on the lower front of the seats for hold down bolts...second you will need to remove the top of the rear seat...hold down bolts are at the bottom of the top cushion...after removing the bolts (one each side) you need to push up on the cushion to remove...this will then allow access to the trunk...find the trunk latch and try to release by twisting the latch cable...Hope this helps...

How do you take out the front seats on a 2004 grand prix gt?

You will need to crawl under the vehicle. The bolts holding them down are located there. You may need two people. One to hold the bolt secure insde the car and one to turn the bolt from underneith. There maybe as many as 6 bolts per seat. I am assuming these are bucket style seats. Tell me how it turns out, Raz

Spilled milk under the rear seats in my 2006 Ford Fusion SEL.

its not hard, the seats are meant to be removed fairly easily, there are two latches under the seat about a foot in from each edge that have to be released (i think you just reach up under and then its just like a trunk or glove box latch, then push back on the seat and lift up on the front and it should pull out.

Hai i would like to know how to fold the back car seat to increase cargo space in hyundai santa fe 2003

The rear seats have a pull strap located between the bottom cushion and the backrest of the rear seats used to disengage a lock to lift up the bottom cushion. The pull straps will only stick out an inch or so, or they might have fallen down between the seats and then you wont see them. Before you can lower the backrest of the rear seats, the bottom cushions have to be lifted up and forward out of the way so that the backrest may lie down flat. If your pull straps are not visible between the bottom cushion and the backrest, you may have to stick your hand between the cushions and feel for the straps. Once you find the straps, pull upward on the while lifting on the bottom cushion where the pull strap is located and the seat should tilt forward. Once you have manged to do this, the lever for the backrest is located on the top of the backrest. Just slide the lever and tilt the backrest to the desired position.

2004 GMC ENVOY XUV, spare tire system stopped working

The tools are under the second row seats. The hole for the spare tire lowering mech. is above the rear bumper when you lift the tail gate. Put the proper tool down the hole, turn counter clockwise, lowers spare. Reverse to bring up.
