There should be a card inside the owners manual with the code to your radio if this is not the case call the honda dealer who sold you the car they will be able to look up the code for u if they say they cant call another dealer because they are just being lazy i am a audio expert and have had to do this many times over hope this helps you

Took out factory radio now interior lights and tachometer or radio dont work what is the problem there a loose wire?

If your car has a sercurity/anti theft system you mave have activated it when you removed the radio. If so you may have to get the dealer to reset the system. Hope this helps.

Gauges and radio went out

if you beat on the bottom of the dash where youre knees are it will probably come on common problem, on my 98 i pulled the cluster (not hard) and took a pair of needle nose pliers and just slightly twisted all the pins that go into the back of the cluster to make better contact than put dilectric grease on them
if you google cherokee forums you will find all the answers you need

Sercurity light

Sounds like you have a problem with the wiring in the column.
The sensor in the lock cylinder sends a signal to the PASS module behind the speedo when you put the correct key in and turn to on.
You may need to take the column apart and replace the harness to the lock cylinder.

Reset check engine light

Check Engine Light can be reset by disconnecting the battery terminal and and putting it back again. Make sure you have the code for the radio before you disconnect the battery terminal as the radio can get locked. You can get the radio code from any dealer.
Another way to rest the check engine light is by using an error code checking meter. You will have to purchase one.
It is always better to first get it checked from a mechanic for the reason of the light to come on before you reset the light as it might be an indication of a serious engine issue.

I have a 2003 Honda CRV with 141,000 miles on it. I had a starter replaced back in Sept of 2010 but the car is acting up just like it did back in Sept. i put the key in, and nothing. No clicking, no...

No the fuel pump relay wasnt the problem ,i suspect either the contact switch on the back of the ignition switch or the solonoid on the starter motor ,if i had the car in front of me when the fault occured i would know straight away what the problem was i would test for a feed to the starter solonoid with my multimeter then i would know exactly what the problem was ,problem you have here is the honda dealer is only employing young lads with no experiance so its cheap labour and they have no idea whats wrong unless they an read a diagnostic code unlike us old hands who have experiance from older cars with no on board computer If and when it happens again then put a test light on the thin wire to the starter solonoid and get assistant to turn key and see if lights up ,if it does then change the solonoid on the starter motor .

I have a 1997 Acura 3.0cl and i just took out after market radio and am trying to put stock radio back in. I need a code.....?

The only place to get the antitheft code is from your Honda dealer. This keeps crooks from stealing and selling radios! Just go to the Honda dealer service department, in person, and have the VIN number of your Honda. They can look up your radio code and get you back up and running...!
