Re: need help getting brake lights running lights working
Before you do that check the fuses. If one is blown wire a flasher unit into where the fuse was and follow the loom. where you feel heat the problem will be. I have a strong feeling that both run off the same curcuit, and that your problem is in the tail light assemblies going to earth somewhere. Let me know Shaun.

replace the brake pressure switch, this switch is located on the master i think, code 78 is brake foundation, the computer sees brake pressure switch feedback voltage low, this can be caused by a leak , so the pedal would sit low or sink or a bad connection to switch or switch itself, also make sure brake fluid is full. good day
lets hope its not a bad motor from lack of oil pressure, the loss of brakes and steering is due to the engine stopped running this is normal, but hte oil light coming on with the engine running is not good, you will need to see if the engine spins and trys to start, this will tell you a little bit, if it spins then it didnt lock up, and maybe its a fuelpump or timing belt that let go, you will have to do some testing ,check for fuel pressure and spark at the plugs,
Remove light, look closely at bulb, also test ground if light looks good, use 12 volt test light ,see if getting power at light socket remember light switch has to be on ,PS there maybe more then one fuse for lights but it sounds like a bad bulb or ground on that one light . hope this helps ,please feel free to ask again. thank you.
Hi I'm litoshop, if the lamp out flashed then you have a light bulb that burned out check all the bulbs head light, parking lights, brake lights and signal lights, tail light, plate lights must likely one of those bulbs burn out good luck. if this information has been useful please let us know thank you.
