My vehicle didn't come with this information so I need the radio override code for a 2006 honda odyssey. Do you know how I can get it?

The radio serial number along with registration with your name on it will have to be taken to the dealership. If this is not the original radio for the car, the dealer wont (or isnt supposed to) give you the code. That's the whole idea behind anti-theft radios.....making them worthless to anyone that might steal one.

You need the serial # and reference # off the sticker on the radio. Call or visit Honda with VIN and ser #'s and they will provide the unlock code for you. It's the only way to get it, if you lost the original audio card that came with the vehicle new. Look in the glove box, or door jambs for the extra ID sticker that should have been installed at PDI when the vehicle was new. Occasionally techs put the wrong one there that actually has the unlock code on it. If not, it's easy number gathering without needing to remove the radio.

Go to your Honda dealer and they can help you retrieve your code to unlock the radio. I have been there and done that. They didn't charge me anything either.

You must write down you VIN number. Also you may have to remove the radio to get the serial number and model number and write it down. Call the dealer or you may have to go to the Honda dealer and provide this information and prove you own the vehicle for them to relenquish the information. At this time they will tell you what you would need to push in order to bring the radio back to life. Hope this helps.

Late response, but for those who still have code problems on radio; I found the code for my 06' Odyssey was on the first page of service manual. The Owners Manual reads that the code should be on a card with the owners manual. I didn't find that. Hope this helps someone.

yes call the dealer and explain to the service department what you did and tell them you need the unlock code for your radio. they should do this for free.

The dealer where you bought the vehicle should be able to help you with this code. Sometimes a sticker is affixed inside the glovebox too.
