Question about 1993 Honda Civic 4 Door
I just bought a 93 civic its been sitting for a while, it probaly needs a oil change. when i got the car it started fine but when i got home it wont start agian the light and cd player work but when i ignition i get absolutly nothing i dont even hear the ignition also i tryed to jump the car and nothing.
I am driving a 1999, 1.6 honda civic and it makes a funny noise when turning wheels and i replaced the transmission liquid for power steering wheel but it still produce that sound as if a rubber is rubbed against a shinniny metal.

I had the same problem. It was the fuel pump in the gas tank. It would start first thing in the morning but after a short time it would not start again. I picked an old one up at the wreckers for $10 and it has worked great for 2 years

It could be:
1)starter out of work
2)Air filter? Dirty? Clogged?
3)Moisture in disty?
Did it make a whirring sound? If so it'de most likely be an electric sensor.
Is it cranking over faster than normal?
This could mean The timing belt is screwed or lack of compression.
Is it cranking over slow? if so then.......
1)Battery Charged? Corrosion on cables or connectors?
Hear any grinding or strange noises when cranking? This could mean the starters bad.
2) Possible Bad connection.
If its not cranking at all other possibilities are......
Bad Starter Drive
Worn Ring gear
