Question about 1995 Audi A6
I have a 1995 Audi A6 2.8 quattro car. I have been having problems with it. When I engage the 'Drive' or 'Reverse' Gear, the vehicle vibrates until a accellerate more than 40 on my speedometer. I find it difficult to use it where there is hold-up as it vibrates until I have to press down the accellerator. But when is on express road I don't express that problem unless I slow down. The mechanic here said that when the first mechanic repairer worked on the overheating problems, they didn't fix the hose in the engines very well so air is not flowing properly in the engine. I thought that the gear box was bad, but he said that the gear box is very okay because it is selecting very well. The car doesn't have a manual and there's no way we can know how to reconnect all the hose. What do you think the problem really is and how can it be solved? Do you also have a diagram that we can look at to correct all the hose reconnection problems?
Check that the correct oil is in the gearbox - and in correct quantity. Sounds like there is too little oil in the converter.
