How to check fuel pressure on a 2004 jeep wrangler 4.0. where is the the fuel pressure check valve? they are normaly on the fuel rail, but this jeep does not.

Nope it does not. You need to pull the fuel line from the fuel rail and use a special hose adapter that is installed in between. A gauge is then attached to the adapter and fuel pressure can be read.

Replacing fuel injector on jeep 2.5

Disconnect your Battery.
Remove your air intake and filter housing all the way to the throttle body. Then use a shop rag and release te pressure in the fuel system by the valve on the fuel rail. use the rag to absorb the fuel as it sprays out the fuel rail.
then you unsrew the 2 bolts holing the rail in place.
Then you pry the rail away from the manifold with a flat head.
being careful not to loose any of your injector seals.
when done clean both your injector seats and the rail seats.
use some assembly lube or shop grease to lubricate all of your injector seals upper and lower seals.
remount all parts as you dismounted.
reconnect your battery cylce the ignition key 4-5 times before starting the egine, and check for leaks. if there is no leak then go ahed and start your engine.
