Try turning the steering wheel from side to side and turning the key at the same time, if this does not work try another key. and if this is not working then the ignition switch has to be removed and replaced.

If you damaged a chip in the key, it won't start. You will have to get a replacement. You'll need the VIN# and go to the dealer to have one cut. Wouldn't hurt to take your key with you.
it wont start you mean it dosnt turn over no battery left or it cranks but no start clean all the keys and you should have a master key like a green one or blue with a m on it put this key in the ignition turn on the ignition without starting then turn it off and repeat with the other keys you have as well make sure its in the park position and start it after you have finish with all the keys if wont crank over try in neutral position no start fuses battery starter and so on to check after
you need to turn the key to the on position for 10 minutes then off for 10 minutes and then on for 10 minutes (a total of 3 times) the will reprogram your key it should start after this
check plug for fuel pump in harness near gas tank for corrosion and it may also have seoerated wire where it comes out of connecter the seperation may be from pulling on wires when pump replaced insulation may look alright because it streaches.
There is a cable driven collar on the steering column. But first, make sure if your wheels are cut all the way to one side, pull the wheel forcefully in the same direction as the wheels are turned and at the same time try to remove the key.
