Several choices but need little more detail
i will type basics for now
mp3 card slots for memmory
usb connection for flash drive which your zune is considered use the usb cable to connect there
back of sterio special wire connector to hook into what would be considered aux jack these are basics for a sterio
the type of bose you have should be described up for you in basics

How do I get the MP3 player to work in a 2007 Nissan Quest?

you said CAN , i bet you meant CAN'T or CAN NOT. right?
the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,
Target, most MP3 players, come with this cable,
they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)

Can the radio on a Golf 5 be set to play MP3 CD's?

If the radio was not originally built to play MP3 format, then no. Unless the manufacturer has an update for the player's software/firmware (which I doubt they bother with) it will be impossible.

I have a 2005 Nissan Murano SL. I was in my car for the 2nd time of the day and all of the sudden display reads Eject Disc. I try ejecting discs and it does nothing. I trying switching discs and display...

Sounds like the changer has gone bad. Same thing happened on my Altima twice. Dealer replaced it under warranty. Guessing yours is no longer under warranty. Unfortunately this is more of a replacement than a repair item. Your choice if you go factory or aftermarket. I'd see if you can go with the 2007 stereo since it supports MP3 discs and teh 2005 did not.

The AUX cables are just an input to the stereo, and it doesn't matter what format your music player uses. If you do need to change the cables to accept a different mp3 player, all of this is usually done in the wiring on the back of the stereo. hope this helps you.

Bose stereo System

I would suggest checking the owner's manual on what the button does, but you could always buy an FM Transmitter hook it up to your Zune and play music from an empty station.

Anyway to bypass my Bose Amplifier

not too sure what you are trying to do but just buy a aftermarket deck..for example for 100 bucks jvc has a nice deck with remote that plays mp3 and even has a jack right on the faceplate for a mp3 player.then throw your subs in the trunk hook up the amp and bingo banging beat.if u have the aruroa with the battery under the back seat its even easier
