Turn Signals not working

Need Assistance,

My turn signals stopped working on my 1999 Volkswagen Passat. I checked the fuse and it is good. I even took a fuse of same amps from another componet and tried it. What next?

I just replaced two branch new headlight set assemblies for my Passat 2001 due to they are flur and dirty inside. Anything is working, highbeam works, headlights work and etc but except two front signal lights don't work at all. Hazard works but NOT with front signal lights. I bought new signal bulbs, check wiring connection, check fuse, anything is ok, but why two front signal lights don't work?

The blinker button (hazard lights 4 way blinking) which is also a relay, is broken. with time the tention on the metal contacts gets loose so the contact only happens sometimes. pop it out with a thin screwdriver and replace it, 15$ on ebay...

Try checking your flasher cans under the hood. You can find them in your fuse box under the hood. Follow the link to see what you are looking for.

Turn signals not fuctioning

try emergency flashers first, if they work OK then check turn signal hand. It's less probability to have at least 4 bulbs burnt. No need to say check fuse, right? ;)

Flashers work. Turn signals do not

Its possible that you have two FLASHER devices for each one (turn signal and hazard light). Also suggest check fuses.

The turn signal fuse may have blown, or The Turn signal/4 way [ tick tock ] relay has failed. Just replace it, and away you go.

Turn lights don't work. bulbs and fuses are good. What could be?

insid ehe engine is another box where your relay switches are, also, behind the glove box you may have heard a clicking sound when your signals did work. check back there too
