I have been having the same problem with the door locks. I just disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect and they work for a while. There is a problem with this van. Is there any hope of a solution.

Same issue - 2005 T&C all of a sudden the power door locks quit. Took it to the local mechanic and he can't find anything wrong...where is the IOD fuse located?

I've had the same problem with none of the electric locks working. Disconnected the battery for several hours and this seems to fix for awhile. Now the drivers side sliding door power lock doesn't work even after disconnecting the battery.

Drivers power locks and windows not working. changed the relay fuse. Works for 5 mins. then dies. Check other window switches they don't work. Sometimes the other doors power locks will but it's intermitten.

There is a BCM (Body Control Module) update that the dealer needs to do to fix this problem. Check out the ChryslerForum.com They have a lot of answers on this problem...

2005 Grand Caravan power door lock quit working. Side doors and rear cargo doors still open with keyless remote. Door lock "honks" when button pushed, but locks will not automatically...

This is a common issue with the 2005 Caravan. To fix the issue you can disconnecting your battery or disconnect the IOD fuse for 10 - 30 seconds in the fuse box located in the engine compartment. This is not a permant fix. Inorder to get this fixed permantly you need to take it to a dealer so they can update your computer.

IF YOU CONSULT YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL,YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO RESET THIS FEATURE..BUT IF YOUR LOCKS WERE NOT WORKING AT ALL..THERE IS A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR YOUR BODY CONTROLLER FOR INOPERATIVE LOCKS..AS FAR AS KNOW,CHRYSLER DEALER IS ONLY ONE ABLE TO DO THIS..REMOVING AND REINSTALLING IOD FUSE IS ONLY A TEMPORARY FIX..THEY CAN ALSO RESET YOUR ROLLING DOOR LOCKS AFTER THEY UPDATE YOUR BCM..I HOPE THIS HELPS

Key/door power lock does not work

A short term fix is to pull the IOD fuse, wait about 10 seconds then replace it again. You'll have to reset your clock, which is annoying but the locks will work again. In the past 3 days, I've had to pull this twice because my locks quit--Hoping to find a more permanent solution.

Door locks don't work

I had the same problem . Free solution was to pull yellow 20A IOD fuse in right front corner of fuse box under hood, wait 10 seconds, then reinsert fuse. Should solve problem as long as you don't lock doors with FOB. You can unlock doors with FOB, but apparently locking with FOB causes the problem. Otherwise you can pay to have the computer reset at the dealer, but the free solution worked for me.

Automatic door locks

I just had this problem tonight, did a Yahoo search and happened on this site, just tried pulling the IOD fuse (located in the covered panel next to the battery BTW), and re-installed it, and everything works again. Thanks for the tip!
