It is a ford stereo removal tool kit, most tool trucks have thease otherwise the dealer will have one, if you catch the right dealer they may let you use one for a few minutes to remove it.

I hope this helps. please help me by leaving feedback, good luck

I’m trying to install a aftermarket deck in my 2005 Cadillac Deville I can’t afford to buy harness so not matter what I do I get no sound is there a factory amp or certain trigger wire I’m not connecting

I get this question a lot - Installing aftermarket decks in this car can be a real problem. There are a fairly large number of entertainment options for this car, and the OEM wiring harness used depends on which one you have. In cases where a Bose system is installed, there is no direct connection from the radio to the speakers - just preamp lines to the Bose amplifier at the back of the car, and aftermarket installations require bypassing that amp (which can be a nightmare). To figure out what you have to do, you need the wiring diagrams for your deck and the system you are replacing - try Alldatadiy.com.

How do I fix the clock display on my 1999 Pontiac Sunfire?

It appears to be that the radio clock display has malfunctioned, and is due for a replacement radio, which could be an aftermarket or oem radio, maybe found at a junk yard.

Tools required for oem replacement radio, torx keys set.

Before working on the radio or other electronics, disconnect the battery cables with 8mm wrench.

Replacing the oem radio is much easier, if you obtain oem radio, compared to aftermarket radio, due to being direct fit.

The radio is same for 1995 to 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and the Chevy Cavalier, regardless of sub models, such as SE,GT, VL,VLX,Z24. etc.

Parts needed for the the aftermarket radio install :Stereo assembly, stereo wiring harness adapter, radio antenna adapter, and dash install kit.wiring diagram for the wire colors / functions, along with tools, such as torx key set, screwdrivers, wire crimper, wire stripper, double ended wiring connectors, hair dryer.

The oem stereo removal video is for the 2000 to 2005 Sunfire / Cavalier, but are the same or very similar procedures.

Which diagrams do you need?...if it is to install an aftermarket deck, get an adapter so u dont cut into the factory wiring harness..the adapter plugs into the factory plug and allows u to solder the aftermarket radio wires to the other side of it.I have attached a link to where u can get the adapters...unfortunatly this wont allow me to send u my radio schematics that are in PDF format.

I totaled my 01 Nissan Sentra, I was able to take out my aftermarket stereo with the wireing harness already attached - I had te deck professionally installed because I did not trust myself to connect all...

I can't answer your question, but i can give you a suggestion. What I did, was go to eBay and buy a radio wiring harness for the vehicle I was going too install the radio into (I think this one is for you vehicle eBay auction # 330605601746, I have nothing to do with said auction. You can also try Amazon.com, but eBay for me was cheaper) You hook the radio up to the harness and just plug it into the car's radio plug. Since the car currently has an aftermarket radio installed, they may have cut the cars plug off and installed it directly. You would have to pull the radio out to check first.

How to connect aftermarket radio into 2002 toyota camry JBL radio (the standart wiring doesn't work). Thanks

Your aftermarket radio should have color-coded wires which identifies power, ground, speakers, etc. most depaetment stores carry a radio harness adapter kit. This will connect to your radio's exact color coded wires, and will plug right in to your factory's wiring plug. And don't forget electrical tape.

Is there an easy way to install an aftermarket radio using stock wiring in a 93 Chebbie K1500? Im looking to replace the tape deck with an aftermarket Dual radio (its a work truck, not a pleasure...

You can buy conversion harnesses from anyone that sells radios. It plugs into your factory plug and then you splice the aftermarket stereo wires to it.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Important: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, disconnect the negative battery terminal. 2. Connect the rear deck release connector.
  3. Install the rear deck release switch bezel. Press the bezel firmly into place.
