If your talking about oil pressure switch in parallel with fuel pump relay, doesn't apply with this vehicle. Note the diagram, I looked at info for the 3.5L engine. Check applicable fuses. If you have different engine, let us know. Are you missing anything else? Engine cranking you have spark and fuel injector pulse? Included is location of oil pressure switch for 3.5L
ur saying car has leak if its visible and oil on ground than dont under stand about sensor being bad [if bad would show no oil pressure not leak unless broken off than there would be no sensor but a hole]if mech states crack ask where located or have mech show u if dont like answer than get second opinion from another mech and have show u problem
The oil light on your car has nothing to do with oil level in the crankcase but rather oil pressure. The oil pressure switch/sensor is located on the rear of the engine block above the right axle I believe. Unless you have engine noise or suspect low oil pressure, I'd replace it but you could check oil pressure for peace of mind with an pressure gauge if you wish. You may need a special socket to replace it.
