It sounds like your power lock is grounding out. Check the wires on both sides. Just find the ground wire and trace it through the car. If its not the ground, check with the people at www.the12volt.com

Why does the fuse immediately blow on my power door locks? how to fix this?

You have a short somewhere in the system. Maybe one of the lock actuators or a switch. To test disconnect all locks and switch then replace fuse if don't blow start with driver door and reconnect lock check fuse see if it blew if not reconnect switch active lock check fuse see if ok. Continue with each door separate using same steps until fuse no good you will have found short. Replace shorted part.

Power door lock

This is because the either the fuse used is too small or there is a short in the wire.. hence the wiring shd be checked as well as the fuse rating..!!

2002 tracker, keeps blowing 15 amp fuse that runs heatr fan and lets car shift out of park

I looked at the wiring diagrams and those two circuits should be on two different fuses.
The shift lock solenoid is powered by the 10amp turn signal fuse and the 15amp stop light fuse. If the fuse blows when you put it in park, I would say the shift lock solenoid is the problem and the stop light fuse is the one that is blowing.
The heater fan and relay are powered by a 60amp fuse and a 15amp fuse but not the stop light fuse.
Its possible there is a short some where that has connected these two circuits.
You could disconnect the shift lock solenoid to see if the fuse still blows.

Interior wiring in drivers door. Radio, mirror lights, dome light on console, trunk light, power door locks and electric mirror switches don't seem to work. I suspect a fuse, #4 20 amp. under the hood and...

do you have an aftermarket stereo? if you do, unplug it and see how long the fuses last. check your lighter and make sure there are no foreing object in there that can cause a short. when you replace the fuses, take notice of which action causes the fuses to blow... for example, door lock unlock, are they still ok, door lock, lock..check again, mirror left, still ok, so forth and so on. take it one at a time and see which action causes them to blow. when they blow do it again to see if the same action that caused them to blow the first time did it again, then trace those wires. you probably have a bad relay somewhere.

Call the consumer safety commision and make a formal complaint. It is a safety issue. Loss of steering control of vehicle at freeway speeds. If its a new car, everytime it locks up, have it towed to the dealer. Even if its in your driveway. They get three hits and it is deemed a lemon if not repaired. Buy another carwith your refund..
