The (app sensor)accelerator pedal position. to test unplug the electrical connector at the accelerator pedal position sensor. Using a digital multimeter and with the key in the RUN position, check the Green wire for 5 volts (pos lead from meter to green wire, neg lead to ground). Then check the black/white wire for good ground (pos lead from meter on Green wire, neg lead to black/white wire)--should read 5 volts. Reconnect electrical connector to sensor.

It sounds like your throttle position sensor has gone out, the sensor is located on the throttle body of the engine.

2006 Dodge Charger limp mode and P2127.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Yyou can't diagnose issues like this yourself. You need more that a $125 scan tool. You need an auto electrician with a $5,000 bi-directional scan tool computer and the experience to use it. This is all electronics and computer networks and can't be guessed.

P2127 Dodge The P2127 code means that the throttle or pedal position sensor switch E has a low input. The pedal position sensor is a sensor found on the gas pedal. The sensor tells the ECU when the gas pedal is depressed and how far it is depressed.

Can the problems associated with code P2127 on a 2010 Chevy Impala cause a/c not to kick on?

DTC P2127: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage

This is right out of factory service repair manual , don't google stuff may not be accurate.
If you look under the steering wheel at the gas pedal you will see connectors at the Accelerator Pedal . position sensors inside gas pedal .

Circuit/System Description
The throttle actuator control (TAC) system uses two accelerator pedal position (APP) sensors to monitor the accelerator pedal position. The APP sensors 1 and 2 are located within the pedal assembly. Each sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit.
Two processors are also used to monitor the TAC system data. Both processors are located within the engine control module (ECM). Each signal circuit provides both processors with a signal voltage proportional to pedal movement. The processors share and monitor data to verify that the indicated APP calculation is correct.

It's not see wide open throttle like other guy says .

P2127
The ECM detects that APP sensor 2 voltage is less than 0.16 volt for greater than 0.5 second.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• DTCs P2120, P2122, P2123, P2125, P2127, P2128, and P2138 are Type A DTCs.
• The ECM commands the TAC system to operate in Reduced Engine Power mode.

Anytime the vehicle goes into reduced engine power mode A/C shuts off - cruise control won't work etc..

Just change the gas pedal assembly .

2012 Honda Civic codes P2138, P2127, P1454, P0651 & P2422 all on, & car goes into limp mode after it's rained. If it's dry for a few days, the car drives as normal then acts up again after it rains?

You need a good auto-electrician to diagnose and fix that lot!

What the P2422 code means. The P2422 diagnostic trouble code is an indication that the vent valve of the evaporative emissions control system (EVAP) is stuck closed. The EVAP system reduces harmful pollutants, generated by the engine combustion process, from being expelled into the environment.P2422 OBD-II Trouble Code: Evaporative Emissions Control ...

Hyundai trouble codes p2127

my book shows p2127 code as accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor/switch E-- low input === causes wiring short to ground--APP sensor / switch. IT depends on the manufacturer as to the definition as the TPS can be on the air inlet before the manifold and on others it is at the base of the pedal. Because of the cost I suggest speaking with a dealer service centre to find out where it is and if you can save money by getting a unit from a wrecker that handles you make of vehicle then that is the way to go. Low mileage wrecks will have good units .
