Question about 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport
When turning the ignition key the motor starts as soon as the key is released it dies engine light came on then went off vanm"hiccupped" then ran good for 3 miles then died. then wouldnt start period they said the starter was bad after testing so new starter then same with alternator fuel line and pump have been checked nothing showing on computer says comp is working correctly any ideas any one I need this van to run.
Hi just fixed a van with the same problem. it was the ignition switch , its on top of the steering coulme. three bolts an a nut an the coulme drop an realy easy axces to get to

Nope but thanks for tryin I think maybe the ignition module or pik up coil but no answer there yet

I have one idea, but keep in mind that I am miles away, so don't be too critical of me!
I had a similar problem with a Dodge Durango. The fix was the battery. I had very similar symptoms, and when the battery was replaced, PRESTO! The problem was gone. If you are able, have the battery replaced/or at least checked. You can have the battery checked for free at any major parts store like AUTOZONE.
