F 350AC/BLOWS FROM DEFROST VENT ONLY. I have tried to apply vacuum to actuators and line with not change.

I found a light blue vacuum line that is not connected and my a/c will not blow out of vents. I see a yellow and red connected but not sure if the blue one should connect to the same place

I'll tell you the easy fix I did. tapped on the vaccuum pump (that is for the ac system only-located on the right side of engine a little behind the battery on my 99 f350 diesel PU). Started blowing the right way. Been working ever since....Saw this idea on another web site...

Also check that you have the rite fuses in the rite place inside your fuse box inside your cab. some models very from year to year and with the wrong manual or box configuration they might be stuck in the wrong hole..

92 buick park ave only blows heat through defrost

Sounds like you might have blown the BM unit. As far as the vent selection goes, I worked on a Buick LeSabre a few years ago with the same kind of trouble. There is a vacuum distribution block down under the glove compartment that directs the route air goes. It is notoriously trouble. In my case the block was poorly formed. Sometimes the vacuum connections on the block are plugged, sometimes they crack or break off. Unless you are a full blown Mr Fixit you just need to replace the block.

Check the vaccum line at the vacuum distribution block (to the right of the brake master cylinder). It's the smallest vacuum hose.

Hello santillani...the a/c duct routeing is controlled by a vaccum operated damper... the defrost, is the systems default mode. Sounds like you could have a vaccum line leaking or broken, or the linkage on the damper itself is not properly working. Also...on the later 90 model fords pickups, there is a 3-way vacuum valve behind the battery next to the firewall that i've found faulty, i would check that first, bout 8 buxs to replace it.
TIP: While you are under the hood, do a general inspection of all the rubber lines, hoses and belts, pcv valve and connector line. Your truck is 12 years old so a lot of rubber products may start to show deterioration.
Good luck...i hope this helps and will fixya up.

When Excellerating the vents shut off and blow out of defroster

AS FOR YOUR VENT PROBLEM.THE VENT DOORS ARE CONTROLED BY VACCUM.THERE IS A VACCUM LINE THAT COMES FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT INTO THE DASH.IT SHOULD BE EASY TO FIND.IT WILL GO THROUGH THE FIREWALL ABD U CAN SEE IT FROM THE ENGINE SIDE.IT SHOULD HAVE A ONE WAY VALVE IN IT SO IT DOES NOT LOSE VACCUM W/U STEP ON THE GAS.THE LOW PRESSURE FITTING WILL BE IN THE PASSENGER SIDE ON THE FILTER/DRYER OR THE BIG LINE

Air only blows on floor with very little coming out the defrost or regular vents.

Hope you have the same set up, sure you do. You may have either crossed your vaccum lines or when you were putting your heater/ac box back together or you may of pinched the vents somewhat closed. Cycle through the different zones to ensure the vents are moving as your are selecting (defrost, floor, ect...) If you think the vaccum lines are correct then you may have a reassembly issue with the Heater/ac box. I had the same problem with my 2000 Dodge Ram 4x4. Use the KISS rule "keep it simple stupid" start with the vaccum lines and all your wiring to the motors, make sure everything is plugged in. Hopefully you'll find it there before going back into the box again.

Front vents will not work

If they are stuck on defrost, then the problem is a little vaccum line that comes through the firewall as all the climate controls are vaccum controlled,so look for a small green or black plastic line unhooked.

1993, Ford E350 VAN, AC ONLY BLOWS OUT OF DEFORSTOR

Check the following:
1. Do you have proper vacuum. This is either the vacuum lines, reservoir or control.
2. Is the vent "flaps" working? They can break and are controled by a vacuum motor.
